The Anti Privatisation Forum, Earthlife Africa, the Landless People’s Movement (Protea South) and others marched against the proposed 53-60% tariff increase for electricity. The memorandum of demands was submitted to Eskom’s Johannesburg office in Braamfontein, the city manager, the Department of Minerals and Energy and the mayor.
